Epic develops extraction shooter using Disney characters, report says

Epic Games is developing an extraction shooter using Disney intellectual property, and it could be unveiled as early as November, a report said. Sora surged in popularity after its release, reaching 1 million downloads in five days, but OpenAI opted to focus on core businesses rather than absorb cloud costs. Webtoon Entertainment 2025 revenue nears 2 trillion won, operating loss down 37 percent

Webtoon Entertainment said on Monday it posted revenue growth for a third straight year and recorded positive adjusted EBITDA for a third consecutive year. Full-year 2025 revenue rose 2.5 percent to $1.38 billion, it said. Adjusted EBITDA was $19.4 million and the operating loss narrowed 36.9 percent to $63.5 million. Fourth-quarter revenue fell 6.3 percent, while adjusted EBITDA turned positive. The company forecast first-quarter revenue to be down 1.5 percent to up 1.5 percent on a constant-currency basis.
