World Cup to boost prediction markets; Bernstein sees $10 billion in volume

The 2026 FIFA World Cup could generate about $3 billion in additional trading volume in prediction markets, according to an outlook cited by Coinpost. Investment bank Bernstein estimates the expanded tournament could lift total sector betting by up to $10 billion. Webtoon anti-piracy group hails repatriation of illegal pirated comics site operator

A coalition of seven companies including Kakao Entertainment and Naver Webtoon welcomed the repatriation to South Korea of a suspect accused of operating an illegal pirated comics distribution site.
