Baemin to run 5-week AI training course with Seocho-gu

Woowa Brothers, operator of Baedal Minjok, is launching an AI marketing training course for local restaurant owners in partnership with Seoul\'s Seocho-gu, it said on Sunday. Applications are open until June 22. The course runs for five Monday sessions from June 29 to July 27. It follows an earlier cooperation deal between Seocho-gu and Baemin Academy, which previously held two joint programmes and reported an 87 percent completion rate and a 9.8 out of 10 satisfaction score.

OpenAI CSO says GTAC broader than Anthropic\'s Glasswing, confirms South Korea and Japan as partners

OpenAI has confirmed South Korea and Japan as its first Asian partners for its government cyber trusted access programme GTAC, making them its third global partners after the United States and Canada. Jason Kwon (권) said GTAC offers broader access than Anthropic’s Glasswing and aims to equip trusted defenders with powerful AI tools. OpenAI also detailed plans for local rollout, partnerships and options to address data security concerns.

Toss holds AI collaboration session with OpenAI, runs hands-on mini hackathon

Toss held a collaboration session with OpenAI to strengthen employees\' ability to use AI, its operator Viva Republica said on May 25. The event took place on May 15 at Toss\' Sinnonhyeon office in Seoul and combined lectures led by OpenAI experts with a staff mini hackathon. About 400 employees participated online and offline. Sessions covered using Codex for developer workflow automation and ChatGPT Workspace agents for turning repetitive tasks into workflows.
