Samsung Electronics signs global partnership for HYBE, BTS world tour \'ARIRANG\'

Samsung Electronics on Thursday announced a global partnership with HYBE and will collaborate on BTS WORLD TOUR \'ARIRANG\', a comeback concert tour by BTS held worldwide. Samsung will share video filmed with the Galaxy S26 Ultra on its social media channels. It will also join HYBE’s BTS THE CITY participation project in concert cities. In South Korea, BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL runs from March 20 to April 19, including a stamp rally and experiences at Samsung Gangnam.

Samsung puts Bespoke AI Combo front and center in newlywed appliance push

Samsung Electronics has launched its 2026 Bespoke AI Combo, a washer-dryer with 25 kg washing and 20 kg drying capacity that completes wash-to-dry in 69 minutes on a rapid course. It unveiled a newlywed-focused appliance strategy at a media briefing in Seoul. The model redesigns its heat exchanger system and applies a pre-heat method to cut drying time and reduce power use by up to 35 percent. It also expands AI features and prioritises security over broader third-party connectivity.

Samsung Electronics opens Galaxy S26 Ultra hands-on comparison zones

Samsung Electronics has opened spaces where visitors can try the Galaxy S26 Ultra and compare it directly with their own smartphones. The company said on Feb. 27 it is operating Galaxy Studio sites at Samsung Gangnam and Samsung Store Hongdae. The zones let visitors experience functions related to security, performance and the camera, including a privacy display feature, call screening in a simulated phishing call, photo editing with AI and a 200-megapixel camera comparison.
