Samsung Electronics has opened a space where visitors can try the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung Electronics said on Feb. 27 it is operating Galaxy Studio at Samsung Gangnam and Samsung Store Hongdae. It is designed to let visitors compare the Galaxy S26 Ultra with their own smartphones and try new functions, allowing them to intuitively check innovative technologies such as security, performance and the camera.
The privacy display function blocks side viewing angles depending on certain situations or the app being used, preventing exposure of personal information. Visitors can compare the function by tilting the Galaxy S26 Ultra and their own smartphones at the same angle.
The hands-on zone has a tablet loaded with a voice phishing program. The tablet calls the Galaxy S26 Ultra and visitors' smartphones to stage a real phishing situation. Visitors can directly experience the call screening function.
In the camera experience zone, visitors can edit photos by communicating with AI in natural language through the Photo Assist function. They can also use Creative Studio to turn photos they take into stickers and share them. Visitors can compare results shot on the Galaxy S26 Ultra and their own smartphones to experience the performance of the 200-megapixel camera.
Samsung Electronics also runs Galaxy AI Live Show. It is aimed at delivering the new Galaxy smartphone's functions in an easy-to-understand way and guiding people on how to use AI to improve convenience in daily life. It is organised around 2 themes, creative and privacy. It runs for about 15 minutes more than 10 times a day, and visitors can participate without a separate advance application.
So-yeon Jang (장소연), a vice president at Samsung Electronics Korea, said, "Galaxy Studio is a space planned so that visitors can intuitively experience the differentiated performance of the Galaxy S26 Ultra while directly comparing it with their own smartphones." She added, "We hope you will experience the Galaxy S26 Ultra's hardware competitiveness and AI usability here."
