Samsung Electronics Service expands reservation service nationwide
Samsung Electronics Service said on March 30 it will expand its reservation service to 169 service centres nationwide from April 1. The service lets customers choose a time for checks of phones, tablets and wearable devices without waiting. A pilot at 23 centres began in September. The share of reservation customers in March rose by more than 50 percent from September, prompting a nationwide rollout.

Samsung and LG offer pre-season air conditioner checkups
Samsung Electronics Service and LG Electronics are offering pre-season air conditioner inspection services from March 3 to March 31, they said on Monday. The companies cited a longer summer season and urged customers to check units in advance. Samsung provides self-check guidance, SmartThings-based AI diagnostics and an early-bird cleaning promotion through April 30. LG offers home visits by engineers, app-based diagnostics and discounted cleaning services. Both offer free visit and inspection fees.

Samsung Electronics on Feb. 23 said it will upgrade its New Galaxy AI Subscription Club and introduce a new 3-year plan for customers buying unlocked Galaxy S series models. The 3-year plan costs 8,900 won a month and includes 36 months of Samsung Care Plus loss and damage coverage, with a 25 percent residual value guarantee upon return after 3 years. The company also added compensation for cyber financial crimes and online shopping fraud.
