Younglimwon Softlab begins ERP build for Wooritech to strengthen data-driven decisions

Enterprise solution company Younglimwon Softlab said on Tuesday it has begun an ERP 구축 project for Wooritech, a specialist in nuclear power, railways and defense. The project focuses on upgrading management systems across overall business execution. The goal is to build an ERP system that integrates processes from sales and project delivery to revenue, collections and cost control. It also includes project management, accounting, SCM and a mobile work environment.

Korea Fujifilm BI appoints Shigeta Kotake as new president and CEO

Korea Fujifilm Business Innovation said it appointed Shigeta Kotake (小竹 茂太) as its new president and CEO, effective July 1. Kotake has worked at Dentsu Soken and global consulting firm BearingPoint, carrying out projects in IT, new business strategy and supply chain management. After joining Fujifilm BI in 2007, he handled manufacturing sales and marketing, solution development and business consulting, and led strategy and M&A in New Zealand and Australia.

KT advances payments to suppliers to stabilise supply amid surging memory prices

KT said on Monday it provided advance payments to suppliers to help them secure memory amid global supply chain instability. The company said geopolitical risks in the Middle East, a strong foreign-exchange rate trend and higher raw material prices have heightened uncertainty, while expanding AI investment has lifted data centre demand and pushed up prices for key components. KT said the payments will allow set-top box suppliers to buy about six months’ worth of memory, and it may expand support depending on market conditions.
