KT is taking part for the first time in an ICT infrastructure exhibition in the United States to support domestic partner companies' entry into the North American market.

KT said on Aug. 19 it will attend ISE Expo 2026, held from Aug. 18 to 20 local time at Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

ISE Expo is a specialised exhibition in ICT infrastructure fields such as telecommunications, networks and AI. Global telecom and network companies and buyers from major countries including the United States take part. This is KT's first time participating in the event.

KT will set up a "KT Global Shared Growth Pavilion" at the venue and introduce products and technologies from 6 partner companies in telecommunications and AI. The participating companies are Yongjin Elecom, Korea Otron, Sungho SI Corporation, Clica, Rabolup and Adriel.

Yongjin Elecom will present RF communication connectors, and Korea Otron will showcase FTTH and PON optical communication components. Sungho SI Corporation will display AI-based automated management and harvesting robots for agriculture, while Clica will exhibit an on-device and edge-based AI optimisation solution. Rabolup will introduce a virtualisation-based GPU-integrated AI infrastructure platform, and Adriel will present an AI-based marketing BI platform.

The exhibition is part of KT's plan to support participation in global exhibitions in the second half of the year. KT surveyed about 150 partner companies on preferred regions and exhibitions and selected participating firms and events based on export potential and industry-specific expertise.

KT will use KOTRA's Atlanta office, the global export support platform buyKOREA and social media to inform local buyers about participating companies and products and support efforts to identify potential buyers. It will also provide training to participating partners to strengthen global business capabilities.

KT also plans to attend IBC 2026, a broadcasting and media exhibition in Amsterdam in September, and ECOC 2026, an optical communications exhibition in Malaga, to support partners' entry into the European market.

Hye-jin Kwon (권혜진), executive vice president and head of KT's SCM Office, said, "We will support partner companies with strong technological capabilities so they can identify new business opportunities in overseas markets and achieve tangible export results." She added, "We will strengthen cooperation with the government and export support organisations such as KOTRA's overseas trade offices to enhance partners' global competitiveness and expand a shared-growth ecosystem."
