KT&G has moved to secure talent in the second half of the year. KT&G said on Tuesday it is accepting applications for open recruitment of entry-level and experienced employees for the second half of 2026. The hiring will be conducted in separate tracks for office and field entry-level employees and for experienced employees. Applications for field entry-level and experienced positions will be accepted through Aug. 26, while office entry-level applications will be accepted through Sept. 10.

The office track will hire in management planning, overseas business, brand, manufacturing, SCM and R&D. Applicants must have graduated from a regular four-year university in South Korea or overseas, or be expected to graduate in February 2027. Applicants must submit an official English speaking test score above a certain standard.

The field track covers sales and production positions, and applicants may apply regardless of educational background or major. Sales applicants, however, must hold a Class 2 standard driver’s licence or higher. Experienced employees will be hired in quality assurance and management, brand and overseas market development. Candidates should have around 7 years of experience by field, and the quality assurance and management field requires majors in electrical, electronics, mechanical, materials or industrial engineering.

The recruitment process will proceed in the order of document screening, an AI video interview, a working-level interview and an executive interview. Final successful candidates will be announced after completing a medical check-up. All stages will be conducted under a blind hiring system, and an AI competency test will also be administered for objective verification to raise transparency and trust in the hiring process.
