Aton supplies quantum-resistant cryptography solution to Eastar Jet, expands customers beyond finance

Aton said on Wednesday it signed a contract with Eastar Jet to supply its PQC-based mobile OTP solution, Quantum SafeOTP, for authentication of access rights to the airline\'s internal systems for employees. It is the first time Aton has supplied a solution to an airline. The company has built PQC references mainly in finance, including banks, securities, virtual assets and fractional investment.

Hanssak swings to profit in Q2 on broader security portfolio and business diversification

Hanssak said on Sunday it swung to a profit in the second quarter on both separate and consolidated bases, citing an expanded security-solution portfolio and business diversification. Separate second-quarter revenue rose 39 percent to 6.4 billion won and operating profit was 1.3 billion won, versus an operating loss a year earlier. Consolidated revenue increased 44 percent to 7.6 billion won and operating profit was 800 million won.

Upbit, Bithumb earnings slump as trading value falls, push to diversify in H2

South Korea\'s digital asset trading market has contracted, sharply reducing first-half results at leading exchanges Upbit and Bithumb. Dunamu, which operates Upbit, said operating profit fell about 80 percent from a year earlier, while Bithumb\'s operating profit dropped more than 80 percent and it posted a net loss amid digital asset valuation losses. The two firms are expanding services and preparing for corporate clients while boosting compliance and security investment.
