Korea Quantum Computing (KQC), a company that operates quantum computing, quantum security and AI infrastructure, said on Tuesday it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with German cybersecurity and information management software company Data-Warehouse GmbH. It said it will launch a post-quantum cryptography (PQC) migration platform business.

The company said Data-Warehouse is a cybersecurity firm that developed PCert, which automatically identifies corporate cryptographic assets and analyses risk levels. It said the firm has technology used in global PQC migration projects. Under the agreement, KQC plans to supply the PCert solution in South Korea and combine it with its own PQC security technology to provide integrated services supporting discovery, risk assessment, cryptographic migration and operation.

KQC Vice President Sang-geun Oh (오상근) said, "Many companies recognise the need for PQC, but they are having difficulty with what to start with in practice. If they do not accurately understand their cryptographic assets, a successful PQC migration is also impossible." He added, "Through this cooperation, KQC will build an end-to-end PQC migration platform covering everything from cryptographic asset diagnostics to HSM-based PQC application and operation, and support a safe quantum security transition for national core infrastructure such as finance, the public sector, manufacturing and defence."
