KITA to form Korea pavilion at electronica 2026, support 70 percent of booth fees
The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) is recruiting South Korean companies to join the Korea pavilion at electronica 2026, the world’s largest electronic components exhibition, to be held in Munich in November. KITA said it will select 10 participating firms with the Korea Federation of SMEs. Eligible applicants include small and medium-sized companies across all 16 electronica sectors. KITA will subsidise booth fees, registration, installation, shipping and interpretation costs.

K battery makers see end of chasm tunnel, profitability within reach in Q2
South Korea\'s three major battery makers posted weak first-quarter results. LG Energy Solution and Samsung SDI swung to operating losses, and SK On is also expected to remain in the red. Brokerages see the first quarter as a cyclical trough and expect a shift to profitability from the second quarter as energy storage system sales ramp up and electric-vehicle demand recovers. Key variables include the pace of ESS revenue recognition and normalization of North American production.

Hecto Healthcare’s inner beauty brand OnRitual will unveil at China Beauty Expo 2026 in Shanghai an expanded global portfolio that includes a skincare line for the first time. The show runs from May 12 to 14 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. OnRitual will present its “One-day Ritual” concept combining supplements and skincare, and highlight key products including diet and collagen items, alongside a superfood-based cleanse.
