Cafe24 said on Wednesday it will hold a commerce conference for creators on Sept. 10 at the CCC Cube Convention Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The event will cover practical strategies creators need to expand their activity into commerce. It will comprise nine sessions, including product sourcing and building online stores, planning and producing private brand (PB) products, OEM and ODM manufacturing, brand collaborations, content IP marketing and advertising growth.
Creators who have expanded fandom built through content into commerce will take the stage. "Gonggu King Hwang Bujang" will share its experience of growing commerce through product sourcing. "Youngja-ssi's Kitchen" will share how it developed recipe content into PB products. Beauty creator "Ssin-nim" will cover the process from brand collaboration proposals to product launches.
Collaboration cases between creators and manufacturers and brands will also be introduced. Hanil Stainless will examine the process of how expertise in content led to product planning and production through a collaboration case with cooking creator Kim Millan (김밀란). Speakers will also include Cafe24 Content Commerce Team head Seungri Eom (엄승리), Marketing Center team head Youngmin Ko (고영민), Support Mall CEO Yongseok Kim (김용석), Pulix CEO Jingil Lee (이진길) and Studio Episode executive Geonhee Park (박건희), who will provide practical information.
Cafe24 CEO Jaeseok Lee (이재석) said, "The content and expertise that creators have built can in itself become a starting point for a new business." He added, "Cafe24 will join creators in their new challenge of going one step beyond making content to building their own business."
