Kim Nak-hyun, the new president

Industrial automation and digital transformation company Rockwell Automation said on Aug. 13 it has appointed Kim Nak-hyun (김낙현), head of its Industry & OEM sales division, as the new president of Rockwell Automation Korea.

Kim joined Rockwell Automation Korea in 2004 as a Software Product Manager. He later held key roles including domestic OEM sales manager, Asia-Pacific safety and smart devices business manager, Asia-Pacific manufacturing and assembly industries lead based in Singapore, and ITD business manager.

Most recently, he oversaw the domestic sales organization and led business growth in major industries including automobiles, EV batteries, tires, chemicals, semiconductors and life sciences.

Kim Nak-hyun, the new president of Rockwell Automation Korea, said domestic manufacturing is entering a new transition period as artificial intelligence and digital technologies advance. He said Rockwell Automation Korea will use the technology and experience it has built in industrial automation and digital transformation to help boost the productivity and sustainability of domestic customers and support the creation of new growth opportunities.
