Seo Jeong-a, a vice president at Samsung Electronics, said the core of AX is redesigning processes and expanding who can access data. Speaking at Snowflake Summit 2026 in San Francisco, she described how Samsung uses an AI agent to monitor signals and produce synthesized answers from sales, pricing and review data for smartphone launches such as the Galaxy S26. She said the shift enables faster responses and lets business leaders analyze data directly.

Samsung Electronics, Harvard Medical School to study monitoring side effects of obesity drugs with Galaxy Watch

Samsung Electronics said on Wednesday it will pursue a joint study with Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, to track physical changes in patients taking GLP-1 obesity drugs using the Galaxy Watch. The study will use the Galaxy Watch8’s BioActive Sensor and follow 100 adults starting weight-loss drug therapy. Researchers will compare a group using the watch for body composition and activity monitoring with a standard-treatment group, alongside DXA scans.
