Samsung Electronics said on Aug. 24 its Galaxy Buds4 Pro was named the top product in the in-ear headphones category at the EISA Awards 2026-2027 hosted by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA).

Launched in 1982, the EISA Awards are decided by tech experts from more than 25 countries who assess the performance and innovation of consumer electronics products. This is the first time the Galaxy Buds series has won an EISA award.

Galaxy Buds4 Pro received high marks based on its immersive sound quality, personalised listening experience and ergonomic design. The EISA jury particularly praised its high-quality sound, clear call quality and practicality in various environments.

The company said Galaxy Buds4 Pro expanded the effective speaker area by about 20 percent from the previous generation to enhance bass performance. It includes a dedicated tweeter for precise treble and supports 24-bit 96 kHz ultra-high-quality audio.

It also applies a feature that analyses the user’s wearing state and ear shape to provide an optimal noise-cancelling algorithm in real time. Through “Super Clear Call,” it provides clear call quality even in noisy environments.

Wear comfort has also been improved. Samsung Electronics said it redesigned a premium metal blade based on more than 100 million ear data points worldwide and more than 10,000 wear simulations to accommodate various ear shapes.

Moon Han-gil (문한길), audio group master at Samsung Electronics’ MX Business Audio Group, said, “We have aimed to deliver the sound intended by creators to consumers without distortion.” He said, “This award is meaningful as Galaxy Buds4 Pro’s audio technology and differentiated user experience have been recognised globally.”

Samsung Electronics’ 2026 OLED TV S99H, known domestically as SH95, also won an EISA award in the Lifestyle TV category.
