JobKorea finds job postings get longer and conditions more specific in AI era

AI and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea said on Oct. 27 that an analysis of detailed job posting descriptions over the past six years showed a trend toward more specific job information and hiring conditions. The share of postings listing preferred qualifications nearly doubled from 2021, while requirements also rose. Posting length increased in both median and average text. Ads mentioning AI use or tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini surged in January to September.

Rableup eyes global market ahead of IPO, targets 57.9 billion won revenue in 2029

AI infrastructure software company Rableup plans to target global markets with integrated operations technology for heterogeneous AI accelerators and more than 10 years of experience. It aims to expand investment in next-generation AI semiconductor compatibility and overseas business after a KOSDAQ listing. Its flagship Backend.AI supports end-to-end AI infrastructure operations. Rableup reported 6.72 billion won revenue and 679 million won operating profit last year and set a 57.9 billion won revenue target for 2029.

Hecto Group joins state project to develop AI medical devices for early lung cancer detection

Hecto Group is developing AI medical devices to help detect lung cancer early and predict recurrence through a state-backed digital healthcare project. Its HAI unit joined the OnKoTECT consortium led by Seoul National University Bundang Hospital under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy\'s Bio Industry Technology Development programme. The consortium will receive 15.5 billion won in research funding through December 2030 to develop and commercialise AI for early diagnosis and recurrence prediction of pancreatic and lung cancers.
