Elice Group said on Monday it has been selected as the lead institution for the 2026 Generative AI Leading Talent Training Program promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation. The program aims to cultivate key master\'s and doctoral-level talent through joint research between domestic universities and generative AI companies. Elice will form a consortium with four universities to conduct four industry-academia projects through December 2029.

Kolon Benit, an IT services company of Kolon Group, said on Wednesday that membership in its AI Alliance, a cooperation chain among AI companies it leads, has surpassed 100 companies. The company said the alliance has expanded to that scale about two years after its launch, with members spanning generative AI, vision AI, document AI, AI agents, MLOps and AI hardware.
