Linus Torvalds says AI bug report flood makes security mailing list unmanageable

Linux kernel creator Linus Torvalds (리누스 토발즈) said a flood of duplicate bug reports generated with AI tools has left a security mailing list almost unmanageable. He said maintainers are spending their time sorting repeat reports and telling people issues are already fixed. Torvalds argued AI-detected bugs are not secret by definition and handling them on a private list wastes time for everyone involved.

Lablup joins Linux Foundation\'s Agentic AI Foundation as silver member

Lablup said on May 18 it will join the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), an open-source agentic AI foundation under the Linux Foundation, as a silver member. AAIF was jointly founded in December 2025 by Anthropic, Block and OpenAI and is operated by the Linux Foundation. Lablup plans to take part in adopting the MCP standard, contributing agent infrastructure technology and expanding Korea’s open agent ecosystem.
