Xpeng unveils \'physical AI\' strategy in Europe spanning EVs, robots and flying cars
Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng unveiled its compact SUV L03 in Munich and outlined a business expansion strategy it calls \"physical AI\" that links cars, humanoid robots, flying cars and power systems using in-house AI chips and large language models. The L03 is priced at 35,600 euros and offers up to 445 km of range under WLTP. Xpeng said it will integrate Google Maps in overseas models and aims for Level 4 autonomous driving by 2028.

Autonomous A2Z steps up Singapore commercialisation, ROii debuts locally
Autonomous A2Z, a South Korean autonomous driving company, is accelerating its push toward commercialisation in Singapore. The company said it took part in NCS AI Impact 2026 in Singapore on July 9, showcasing its Level 4 unmanned autonomous shuttle ROii and remote driving technology. It also staged a remote driving demonstration linking Singapore and a test site in Hwaseong, South Korea. The company has partnered with Singapore AI services firm NCS under an MOU.

Tesla has ended sales of a perpetual Full Self-Driving (FSD) licence and moved to a $99-a-month subscription model, with users reporting it feels worth the cost on vehicles with the latest HW4 hardware. One driver who used both a 2019 Model 3 and a 2026 Model Y said performance differs sharply by hardware generation as updates focus on HW4. The user praised FSD V14 but said it still requires driver supervision and criticised Tesla’s pricing policy.
