Lam Research Korea forms safety consortium with five partners
Lam Research Korea said on March 23 it was selected as a parent company for the 2026 large and small company safety and health win-win cooperation programme overseen by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and KOSHA. It will form a consortium with five semiconductor equipment service partners to raise on-site safety and health standards. The company plans phased activities to identify and prevent hazards during equipment transport, installation and inspections.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics\' Busan site wins labour minister award for safety partnership
Samsung Electro-Mechanics\' Busan site won an award from South Korea\'s Ministry of Employment and Labor in recognition of its support for workplace safety and health at partner companies. The ministry and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency selected 32 companies as outstanding participants in the 2025 large-small business safety and health cooperation programme. Samsung Electro-Mechanics provided tailored support to 20 partner firms, including risk assessments, expert dispatches, consulting and seminars.

SK Hynix Icheon, Cheongju win award for SME safety support
SK Hynix was selected as an outstanding company for 2025 for supporting the safety and health of partner firms, the company said on Wednesday. The recognition came under a safety and health cooperation programme hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. Its Icheon and Cheongju sites won at the same time, making it three consecutive years of awards since 2023.
