Musinsa said on Monday that Musinsa Studio, the fashion-focused shared office it operates, has obtained recognition as an “excellent workplace for risk assessment” from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
The recognition covers a total of 3 sites: the Seongsu, Sindang and Dongdaemun Comprehensive Market locations. The certification is a system that objectively evaluates and certifies a workplace’s process of identifying harmful and hazardous factors and establishing and implementing improvement measures.
Musinsa Studio received high marks for identifying risk factors by filming and production process, checking facility safety and its emergency response system. It was also recognized for applying a “tailored safety design” that proactively manages slip-and-fall and entrapment accidents in a studio environment where lighting and sets are frequently moved.
A Musinsa official said Musinsa Studio places top priority on creating a safe environment so workers can focus on their core tasks. The official said it will enhance its constant risk management system and continue to operate infrastructure for a sustainable fashion ecosystem.
