Sam Altman delays South Korea visit citing unavoidable circumstances
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has postponed his planned visit to South Korea, the company said on Thursday, citing unavoidable personal circumstances. OpenAI did not disclose specific reasons. Altman had been due to arrive on June 14 for a two-day schedule that included sequential visits to Samsung Electronics, Kakao and Naver. An OpenAI official said cooperation with local partners would continue as planned and expressed hope to visit Korea again soon.

KOSPI reclaims 8,100 as foreigners turn net buyers for first time in 24 sessions
South Korea\'s KOSPI rose more than 4 percent on June 12 to reclaim the 8,100 level, supported by gains in U.S. stocks and strength in semiconductor shares. Foreign investors turned net buyers for the first time in 24 sessions since May 7, while institutions also bought. The Kosdaq climbed more than 3 percent to finish above 1,000. The won weakened slightly against the dollar.
