Kakao runs \'Remember Dokdo\' campaign for Liberation Day, donates 815 won per verification
Kakao said on Wednesday it will run a \'Remember Dokdo\' campaign for Liberation Day, linking user participation to donations. The campaign runs through Aug. 15 on its social contribution platform Kakao Together Value and Kakao Map. Users can complete two missions, with Kakao donating 815 won per mission for youth Dokdo history education. Kakao Together Value will also operate a fundraiser through Sept. 6 with the Dokdo Association of Korea and link efforts to Korea Habitat support.

Kakao Pay waives payment fees for new merchants to expand payments ecosystem
Kakao Pay will waive Kakao Pay Money payment fees in full for newly signed offline merchants that are small and medium-sized businesses through the end of this year. The program applies to businesses with annual sales of 500 million won or less that complete sign-up and screening from May 18 to June 30. Kakao Pay will also provide a marketing package, free payment kits, support for local currency and policy subsidy payments, and foreign tourist payments.
