KT M Mobile launches rate plans for vulnerable groups
KT M Mobile on March 19 launched rate plans for welfare beneficiaries to ease telecommunications costs for vulnerable groups. The company introduced four plans for MVNO users, each priced below 10,000 won a month and offering unlimited voice calls, text messages and data. It said the plans are designed to be up to about 20 percent cheaper than general plans with similar data allowances. Eligible subscribers include disabled people, national merit recipients and low-income groups, including some organisations.

KT M&S picked as supplier for government 2026 AI voucher programme
KT M&S said on Thursday it was selected as a supplier for the government’s 2026 AI Voucher Support Programme. It said it will support AI adoption by small and medium-sized businesses and small merchants through its self-developed AI platform, NEXUS. The programme, run by the Ministry of Science and ICT and NIPA, supports costs for adopting AI solutions. Selected demand firms can receive vouchers worth up to 200 million won.

KT M Mobile launches customer reassurance task force to pre-empt customer inconvenience
KT M Mobile said on Wednesday it has expanded and reorganised the fraud-prevention task force it launched in December 2024 into a Customer Reassurance TF, stepping up user protection activities. The previous team conducted constant monitoring and preventive measures for lines tied to fraudulent use, cutting monthly average related customer complaints by about 30 percent in 2025 from the prior year. The new TF will widen its scope and tackle recurring customer inconvenience.
