Miro sold for $1.36 billion after once being valued at more than $17.5 billion

Italy\'s software company Bending Spoons will buy collaboration tool Miro for $1.36 billion in cash, TechCrunch reported. The price is a steep discount from Miro’s valuation of more than $17.5 billion in late 2021. Miro grew rapidly during the COVID-19 pandemic and expanded integrations and partnerships. It has more than 4 million paid users and more than 100 million total users, with about $600 million in annual recurring revenue.

OpenAI, AWS and GitHub back agent plugin standard

OpenAI, AWS, Cursor, GitHub and Microsoft have voiced support for Agent Plugin 1.0.0, a reusable portable package standard for expanding AI agents. A report said the vendor-neutral open standard, led by agent infrastructure firm Vercel, combines AI agent skills and MCP servers into a single deployable plugin that can be moved across clients or runtimes. Some engineers warned about governance and permissions risks, while others called it progress for enterprise adoption.

Cursor acquires open source coding assistant Continue

AI coding tool Cursor has acquired the open source coding assistant Continue. TheNewsStack reported on June 22 that the deal was signed alongside the timing of SpaceX\'s acquisition of Cursor for $60 billion, meaning Continue also moved under SpaceX. The terms were not disclosed. Existing Continue users can export data until July 15, after which it will be deleted. Continue is a Y Combinator alum and was offered as a VS Code extension, JetBrains plugin and CLI.
