Legislative Research Service calls for \'free viewing\' clause in Broadcasting Act, urgent universal access overhaul
South Korea\'s National Assembly Legislative Research Service called for a redesign of the universal viewing rights system following controversy over exclusive Olympic broadcast rights. It also raised the need to expand the scope of designated events and rework the channel-based system to include online platforms and services.
