Hecto Innovation\'s Weatherdol launches local flood risk map

Hecto Innovation said on Tuesday its weather-based daily life support platform Weatherdol has launched a “local flood risk map” that lets users check heavy-rain data. The service shows flood risk around a user’s current location in five levels and calculates risk by combining the Interior and Safety Ministry platform’s disaster-risk zone grades with rainfall data. It also provides 12-hour rainfall forecasts by zone and offers linked real-time CCTV and in-house observation data.

Hecto Innovation to run 100 million won football match prediction event on Polyball

Hecto Innovation said on Wednesday it has strengthened an ongoing football match prediction event on its prediction platform Polyball and added events with total prizes of 100 million won. From 1 p.m. on June 25, Polyball will reward up to 100 users who correctly predict all knockout-stage match results, paying 1 million won each. It will also add an AI-based head-to-head event from June 29 and run team and individual ranking competitions.

Hecto WalletOne, Overtake, ItemBay, Sui partner on stablecoin payment PoC

Hecto WalletOne, a blockchain wallet infrastructure company under Hecto Innovation, signed a four-party memorandum of understanding with global Web3 marketplace Overtake, South Korean game item trading platform ItemBay and layer-1 blockchain Sui to conduct a proof of concept for stablecoin payment technology. The companies plan to check operating processes, regulatory response systems, user protection measures and settlement flows in real service environments, ahead of future institutionalisation of stablecoin payments and settlements.
