Hecto Innovation introduces stablecoin-based infrastructure for foreign patient hospital bills and trade payments

Hecto Innovation will take part in AI Festa 26, held in Seoul from Oct. 6 to 8 under the theme “AI, Becoming Reality. AI for Everyone.” It will run a booth focused on “24/7 stablecoin infrastructure” spanning foreign patient hospital bill payments and corporate trade remittances. The company plans to introduce models for using digital assets while complying with regulations such as AML and KYC, based on acceptance of its Hecto Wallet One VASP filing.

Hecto Group holds 10th blood donation campaign, donates 10,000 won per certificate

Hecto Group marked its 10th employee blood donation campaign by setting aside 10,000 won for each donated blood donation certificate to support treatment costs for children with cancer. The company held the 10th “HECTO&” campaign from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1. HECTO& is the group’s social contribution programme. It said it will donate the full amount accumulated through the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Won stablecoin pilots enter proof stage as industry tie-ups accelerate

Partnerships among banks, fintechs, platforms and blockchain firms around won-denominated stablecoins are accelerating in the second half, with payment and settlement use cases moving into more concrete pilot tests. Companies are running proofs of concept on real-time settlement, on-chain payment flows and links between digital wallets and existing card networks.
