Hecto Walletone, Overtake, ItemBay and Sui are moving to verify technology to apply stablecoin payments to game item trading.

Hecto Walletone, a blockchain wallet infrastructure company affiliated with Hecto Innovation, said on Sunday it signed a four-party business agreement with global Web3 marketplace Overtake, game item trading platform ItemBay and layer-1 blockchain Sui.

The agreement was arranged to verify payment infrastructure that uses stablecoin transfers between digital asset wallets in game asset transactions. The four companies plan to apply a blockchain-based payment environment to game item trading and check operating processes needed for real services, regulatory response systems, user protection measures and settlement flows.

Hecto Walletone will supply Ohi Wallet to ItemBay to support building the payment infrastructure. Ohi Wallet is an enterprise in-app wallet implemented as a webview within a client company's existing app or service. The structure is that Hecto Walletone, which holds a virtual asset service provider licence, carries out management and supervision under relevant rules.

ItemBay will support the use of the U.S. dollar-based stablecoin USDC for item trading between users on its platform. Users are expected to reduce the burden from exchange rate fluctuations through stablecoins and trade with lower fees than existing payment methods.

Overtake will support global expansion by handling overseas user inflows and platform integration. Sui will provide mainnet infrastructure based on fast processing speeds and low gas fees to support stablecoin payments such as USDC.

A Hecto Walletone official stressed that it will build B2B digital asset wallets and payment infrastructure by combining each company's capabilities under a regulatory compliance system that meets VASP standards.

An ItemBay official said it will create a new payment environment that both domestic and overseas users can use safely and conveniently through the four-party collaboration. The official said it will focus on building payment infrastructure that can be used in practice in the game asset trading market.
