HectoWalletOne launches USDC subscription plan to cut multichain burden

HectoWalletOne, a blockchain wallet infrastructure company, said on May 15 it will launch a USDC-only pricing plan, dubbed the USDC kit, as part of efforts to meet growing demand for Circle's U.S. dollar stablecoin USDC.

The USDC kit offers Octet APIs for building USDC infrastructure under a single flat monthly subscription, the company said. Using the kit allows customers to use six major chains that account for the vast majority of USDC usage under one fee regardless of network type, reducing the cost burden of building infrastructure.

Previously, fees were charged by network, and infrastructure costs for USDC used across multiple blockchain networks were an obstacle to service expansion. The networks supported by HectoWalletOne's USDC kit are Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum and Sui, for a total of six.

Octet is a digital asset wallet development API service for corporate customers. It provides development, security and management systems such as wallet creation, key management and asset monitoring in software-as-a-service form. Companies can quickly develop their own wallet services with low costs and resources through Octet and can stably use infrastructure that takes into account digital asset regulations and security requirements, the company stressed.

HectoWalletOne plans to use the USDC kit to respond to demand for USDC infrastructure, including global remittances and settlement using Circle's global payments network, CPN (Circle Payments Network).

Hecto Innovation is also recruiting early-bird partners seeking to use Circle's blockchain mainnet Arc, while supporting South Korean companies' efforts to preempt the USDC ecosystem.

A HectoWalletOne official said the scope of stablecoin use, including USDC, is expanding into global remittances and settlement, and corporate customers' demand for related infrastructure is also rising rapidly. The official said the USDC-only kit will help South Korean companies adopt USDC-based services easily and quickly.

Hecto Innovation acquired HectoWalletOne in September last year, internalising blockchain wallet infrastructure technology and a VASP licence. Hecto Innovation is currently building a stablecoin ecosystem in which a "wallet-payment-platform" is organically connected, centred on HectoWalletOne's blockchain infrastructure.
