Hawaii to enforce cryptocurrency ATM ban from Oct. 1
Hawaii will enforce a law that bans cryptocurrency ATMs and kiosks, becoming the fourth U.S. state to impose a full ban after Minnesota, Tennessee and Indiana, Cointelegraph reported. The state legislature passed House Bill 1642 in May, and Governor Josh Green signed it in July. The law prohibits owning, operating or managing kiosks that take U.S. dollars from customers and convert them into digital assets.

Ondo Finance founder Nathan Allman dies suddenly
Ondo Finance, a company that offers tokenised stocks, said its founder and CEO Nathan Allman died unexpectedly at age 32. Ondo Finance posted the announcement on social media platform X on May 26 local time and did not disclose the cause of death. The company said Ian De Bode will take over as CEO. Allman previously worked at Goldman Sachs on digital asset services for institutional investors and founded Ondo in 2021.

South Korea\'s convenience store market is entering a saturated phase, prompting the four major operators to strengthen private brand (PB) products. CU and GS25 are expanding PB as a growth engine for overseas stores, while Seven Eleven and Emart24 are using PB to improve efficiency and profitability. With store growth slowing for most players, PB shares last year were 29.5 percent for CU, 20 percent for GS25 and 29.5 percent for Seven Eleven.
