Megazone Soft, Google Cloud support Yogiyo AI hackathon; \'AI Menu Assistant\' wins top prize
Megazone Soft, an affiliate of cloud company MegazoneCloud, held Yogiyo’s first in-house AI hackathon, “2026 Great Imagination,” with Yogiyo and Google Cloud, it said on Wednesday. The event focused on having employees define real service and workplace problems using generative AI and implement solutions. Megazone Soft and Google Cloud provided technical support and mentoring. The “AI Menu Assistant” won the top prize.

Apple leak shows new Siri with on-device, cloud and Gemini three-layer structure
Apple is preparing a new version of Siri that integrates AI across the iPhone operating system and may include a separate Siri app, according to reports. Leaked renderings ahead of WWDC show Siri expanding from a voice assistant into a default search and action interface tied to Dynamic Island and Spotlight. The redesign is expected to use a hybrid of on-device and cloud processing and to incorporate some Google Gemini technology, with some complex requests handled via Google Cloud.

OpenAI has confirmed South Korea and Japan as its first Asian partners for its government cyber trusted access programme GTAC, making them its third global partners after the United States and Canada. OpenAI also detailed plans for local rollout, partnerships and options to address data security concerns.
