MegazoneSoft, an affiliate of AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud, said on Aug. 21 it has completed the buildout of an AX (AI transformation) system based on Google Workspace (GWS) promoted by Nongshim Group.

MegazoneSoft built GWS systems for 14 Nongshim Group affiliates in South Korea and seven overseas units.

The company said the project went beyond a simple system rollout. It included migrating existing data to Google Drive, linking legacy systems and third-party solutions with GWS, and change management to reorganise group-wide work practices around AI.

MegazoneSoft said it focused on providing three key values to Nongshim Group: "real-time collaboration" to streamline reporting through simultaneous editing and real-time feedback; "assetisation of information" to systematically accumulate group knowledge and improve search efficiency through cloud-based document management; and easing time-and-place constraints so work can continue without spatial and temporal limits.

MegazoneSoft transferred about 26 million documents by migrating Nongshim Group's existing centralised document server to Google Drive. It also established a foundation to maximise productivity and profitability by linking Google Gemini across work functions and using AI across the company, including marketing, sales, supply chain, operations, HR and R&D.

Jin Keon (진건), head of Google Cloud business at MegazoneSoft, said, "MegazoneCloud and MegazoneSoft feel great pride in the fact that, in the process of Nongshim Group adopting GWS across South Korea and overseas, we were the partner responsible for the entire process, from building the technical foundation to change management that supports AI-centred work." He added, "We will continue to support Nongshim Group not only in becoming an AI-native company, but also in maximising efficiency and productivity as it continually experiences new AI technologies."
