Seven universities including Korea University and Yonsei University have been selected for a new artificial intelligence-focused university programme to be launched this year. The Ministry of Science and ICT said 7 of 10 participating universities will convert from the existing software-focused programme. Selected universities can receive support for up to 8 years totaling 24 billion won, or about 3 billion won per year per university. The ministry plans to name 3 additional universities in June.

HR tech platform JobKorea said it will hold an offline meetup, \'Hreka Day\', on May 21 at 7 p.m. at Worksphere\'s headquarters lounge in Seocho-gu, Seoul. It plans to invite about 80 HR practitioners for HR lectures and a networking program. Hwang Seong-hyeon of Gachon University will speak on HR priorities in the AX era, sharing cases on AI-led workplace changes and responses.
