HR tech platform JobKorea will hold an offline meetup, 'Hreka Day', for HR practitioners to exchange insights on May 21 at 7 p.m. at the headquarters lounge of Worksphere in Seoul's Seocho-gu district. JobKorea plans to invite about 80 practitioners for HR lectures and a networking programme.
In the lecture session, Hwang Seong-hyeon (황성현), a professor at Gachon University, will speak on "Key points HR must review in the AX era". Based on his experience leading HR at Google and Kakao, Hwang will share real cases on AI-driven changes in the workplace and directions for response. He will also present insights on the status of AI adoption in companies and expected effects, as well as how recruiters' roles change in the era of AI agents.
A networking programme will also be held for current practitioners to share experiences, learn together and grow. JobKorea plans to support discussions and exchanges of know-how on practical concerns including the share of AI use, AI tools used in practice, areas where AI is applied, and HR survival strategies in the AI era.
JobKorea plans to continue expanding offline exchange opportunities, from the small-scale meetup and networking programme 'Hreka Day' for HR staff to the large-scale event 'Hreka Conference'.
