ITCEN Global wins GS certification for AgentGo 2026 AI agent management platform
ITCEN Global said on Tuesday it received Grade 1 software quality certification, known as GS certification, from the Korea Testing and Research Institute for its multi-AI agent management platform AgentGo 2026. The company said the platform helps secure data sovereignty and transparent AI governance by linking internal AI agents to in-house data and business systems. It also enables development, operation and control through a single platform.

Ha Jung-woo inspects 30 trillion won Donghae AI data centre site
South Korea\'s presidential National AI Strategy Committee said its standing vice chair Ha Jung-woo inspected AI policy implementation in Pyeongchang, Gangneung and Donghae over two days from Oct. 19. The visit focused on progress for a planned 2.4-GW Donghae AI data centre by 2029, investment plans and power and water supply measures. Ha also reviewed digital health, intelligent transport systems and AI talent training initiatives.

QAI steps up push for \'Korean-style quantum cloud\'
Quantum technology company QAI is hiring talent in quantum computing and AI infrastructure to accelerate the advancement of its quantum AI technology. QAI named Kim Eui-tae (김의태), co-founder of Devkra, as co-CEO for technology and CTO, and appointed Shin Sung-wook (신성욱), a Sejong University professor, as head of its research institute. CEO Lim Se-man will remain in his role and focus on management and fundraising. QAI aims to run a sovereign quantum cloud hosted on domestic equipment.
