Salesforce to buy AI customer agent startup Fin for $3.6 billion
Salesforce said on Sunday it will acquire AI customer agent startup Fin for $3.6 billion. Founded in 2011, Fin began as customer support software and shifted in 2023 with the launch of an AI agent that automatically responds to customer queries. Fin CEO Eoghan McCabe has said annual recurring revenue topped $400 million in March and that the AI agent Fin ARR grew 350 percent year on year to nearly $100 million.
