PUBG, Subnautica 2 double boost signals surprise Q2 results for Krafton
Krafton is expected to post a sharp improvement in second-quarter results, helped by steady growth in PUBG: Battlegrounds on PC and faster-than-expected early success for Subnautica 2. Consensus estimates put revenue at 1.19 trillion won and operating profit at 367.1 billion won, up 80.2 percent and 49.2 percent from a year earlier. Analysts cite strong Steam metrics for PUBG and millions of Subnautica 2 copies sold soon after launch.

LG Display shows higher refresh rates improve gaming performance
Higher refresh rates in gaming monitors are linked to improved real-world game performance, LG Display said on Wednesday, citing results from a performance experiment it presented at an international academic conference. In a blind test of 31 adult gamers, hit scores in a first-person shooter improved 38 percent at 480Hz compared with 60Hz, and rose 10 percent versus 240Hz. Participants also reported higher satisfaction, citing smoother screen transitions and easier target tracking. Input lag fell by more than 10 milliseconds at 480Hz versus 60Hz.
