LG Display steps up shift to OLED in premium monitor market

LG Display said on May 28 it was the first in the world to commercialise a 240Hz RGB stripe OLED panel and begin mass production. The company said the structure, which aligns RGB subpixels in a row, delivers clearer text and numbers and reduces eye strain in long-use work settings. The panel combines 160 PPI resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate and supports selectable modes including 4K at 240Hz and FHD at 480Hz.

Samsung Display unveils world\'s first 4K 360Hz QD-OLED for monitors

Samsung Display said on May 28 it has developed a QD-OLED monitor panel that combines 4K resolution with a 360Hz refresh rate for the first time. The 31.5-inch panel will be shown to customers and media at Computex 2026 in Taipei. The company said it overcame technical limits by optimizing the panel circuit and driving system. The product includes a dual mode that can raise refresh rate to 680Hz at FHD and supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification.

Panasonic Korea launches Lumix TZ300 pocket digital compact camera

Panasonic Korea has launched the pocket-sized Lumix TZ300 digital compact camera aimed at travel and vlog demand. The camera features a 1.0-inch BSI CMOS sensor with about 20.1 megapixels and a LEICA-certified 24 to 360 mm 15x optical zoom lens, plus AF macro shooting from as close as 3 cm. It supports 4K video, FHD 120 fps slow motion, dual image stabilisation, 22 creative filters, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi sharing, and USB-C charging.
