Nexon Games is ramping up its new game push in the second half of the year. With no new titles since the July 2024 release of The First Descendant, the market is watching whether the investment so far will translate into results as the company unveils this lineup.

Sudden Attack: Zero Point is moving to target global markets through Steam Early Access. Project RX presented its first offline hands-on space at Anime Expo 2026. DNF Raising is in development, aiming for a domestic release within the year.

Sudden Attack: Zero Point enters global early access on July 30

Sudden Attack: Zero Point is a new title that remasters Sudden Attack, an FPS game developed by Nexon Games. It will begin early access on July 30 via the global PC platform Steam. The early access will be held for major global regions including North America, Japan, Thailand and Central and South America, excluding South Korea.

It retains the original game's fast combat tempo, intuitive controls and gameplay centered on demolition missions and team deathmatch. It adds modern visuals and a weapon customization system. The game is designed to let users immerse themselves in combat quickly with fast rounds in which engagements unfold in a short time and a streamlined UI.

The early access version includes 13 primary weapons, 4 secondary weapons, more than 200 dedicated parts for primary weapons, 36 shared parts and 10 characters with different traits. It provides 2 team deathmatch maps specialized for close-quarters combat and 5 demolition mission maps. It also includes a practice mode to test weapon customization and a bot-based team deathmatch for new users.

Nexon Games also released a new cinematic trailer and a 2026 roadmap. The roadmap covers content from a pre-season through seasons 1 to 3. A new clan system, character skins, additional weapons and new maps are set to be updated sequentially. Season 2 will also add a vampire mode.

Project RX meets global users for the first time at Anime Expo 2026

Project RX is an upcoming subculture title for PC, console and mobile being developed by RX Studio within Nexon Games' IO Division, which developed Blue Archive. It aims to create another world where attractive characters and players live together. It highlights high-quality 3D graphics based on Unreal Engine 5, lifestyle content that can be enjoyed with characters, and immersive storytelling as key features.

Project RX met global users for the first time at Anime Expo 2026, held from July 2 to 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in the United States. A first offline hands-on space for Project RX was set up at the venue. The booth was decorated with a Western-style mansion concept, with photo zones using the game's worldview and character illustrations. A photo session with cosplayers portraying in-game characters including Minie, Ohana, Shami and Merling was also held.

The booth's centerpiece was interactive content with characters. Visitors could call a specific character by voice, and the character would approach, greet them and play rock-paper-scissors, offering a direct interaction experience that drew a positive response from attendees. A stamp rally event was also held in which participants completed various missions including booth experiences, merchandise purchases and SNS follows. Limited items were also provided, including reusable bags featuring Project RX illustrations.

Project RX is also set to participate in Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026, to be held in September, to meet more global users.

Cha Min-seo (차민서), Project RX PD, said, "Thinking about how to show an other world that users want to take part in was the starting point for this Anime Expo booth." He said, "I thought there is a special charm to interaction and empathy that take place while making eye contact, and I wanted to capture that kind of experience in Project RX."

DNF Raising steps up development, targeting domestic launch within the year

DNF Raising is a game that reinterprets the Dungeon & Fighter IP, which has secured more than 850 million users worldwide, as a mobile idle RPG. Development is continuing with the goal of launching within the year. It was first unveiled as one of six core pipelines at Nexon Capital Market Briefing 2026 held in Tokyo, Japan, on March 31.

In addition to DNF Raising, Nexon Games is developing an open-world action RPG using the Dungeon & Fighter IP, titled Dungeon & Fighter: Arad. With DNF Raising joining, the number of upcoming new titles based on the Dungeon & Fighter IP under development at Nexon Games has increased to 2.

Along with these new titles, Nexon Games is also preparing new releases spanning platforms from mobile to PC and console, including Woochi the Wayfarer and Durango World, expanding its lineup.

Nexon Games CEO Yong-hyun Park (박용현) said, "Starting with Sudden Attack: Zero Point and DNF Raising, we plan to sequentially present the new titles under development." He said, "We will do our best to raise the quality of the new titles we have prepared over a long period so that we can achieve meaningful results in domestic and overseas game markets."
