[DigitalToday reporter Ho-jung Lee] Krafton's new PUBG franchise title 'PUBG: Deadnet' was unveiled for the first time on the Gamescom 2026 eve show stage.

Krafton said on Aug. 25 local time it unveiled videos of five new titles at the Gamescom 2026 eve event "Opening Night Live (ONL)" held in Cologne, Germany.

ONL is Gamescom's official opening eve event where major global game developers announce new titles and key updates each year. The event was hosted by Geoff Keighley, who introduced Krafton's new games and highlighted the features of each title.

Five new titles took part in this year's ONL: PUBG: Deadnet (Deadnet), NO LAW, Project Zeta, Tare: Unbound and Age Twister. They presented key features focused on their universes and core gameplay.

Deadnet is set in Cascadia in 1996, inspired by the U.S. Pacific Northwest in the 1990s. The video introduced characters, gunplay and a progression system that uses roguelite elements that carry across games. In the latter part, special abilities and different play styles come together, increasing the scale of combat and the number of variables.

NO LAW focused more deeply on gameplay. It is an immersive open-world FPS role-playing game, following scenes in which city residents describe the main character, "Grey Hacker," differently, before moving into infiltration, hacking and hardcore shooting.

The multi-team tactical arena game Project Zeta explained the characteristics of multi-team tactical player-versus-player play centered on the process of taking and returning the key object, "Prism." Tare: Unbound is an action role-playing game set in an Eastern-style dark fantasy world.

The two-player cooperative adventure Age Twister depicts a journey in which a grandfather and granddaughter set out to follow the traces of a missing daughter and mother.

Krafton will set up a large booth at Gamescom, which opens on Aug. 26, to introduce the five new titles to global game fans.
