Krafton unveiled five new titles at Gamescom 2026 spanning new intellectual property and an expansion of the PUBG franchise. It is broadening its portfolio across genres including an open-world FPS RPG, multi-team combat, a co-op adventure and an Eastern dark fantasy, rather than focusing on a single category.

On Aug. 26 (local time), Krafton held a "Krafton Media Day" for global media at Koelnmesse's Rheinsaal in Cologne, Germany. It introduced development direction and key gameplay for NO LAW, Project Zeta, Age Twister, Taray: Unbound and PUBG: Deadnet.

Of the titles unveiled, four are new games built around different genres and worlds. "PUBG: Deadnet" expands the existing PUBG IP in a different way.

Jang Tae-seok (장태석), Krafton head of global publishing and head of the PUBG franchise, presented a direction to apply PUBG's experience of growing from a single game into a global franchise over the past more than 10 years to publishing new titles.

Jang said, "Making a game that is remembered for a long time is difficult and takes a long time. There is no shortcut and no easy path. Just as PUBG endured that time to reach fans, I hope the games on this stage today will ultimately reach fans and be loved." He added, "We will move forward boldly toward the dream that 'if Krafton makes it, it is fun.'"

NO LAW is an immersive open-world FPS RPG being developed by Neon Giant. It is set in the lawless city of "Port Desire" and applies a structure in which situations and stories change depending on the user's choices and actions. Built on Unreal Engine 5, it focuses on letting users shape their own play style rather than following predetermined strategies.

Project Zeta, in development by Nirvanana, is positioned as a multi-team tactical arena (MTA) title. It removes the lane-based structure of existing MOBAs, with four teams of three competing for key objectives from the start of matches. It plans to refine the game through global community testing.

Piccolo Studio's "Age Twister" is a two-player co-op adventure game. A grandfather and granddaughter move among four age groups - child, youth, adult and elderly - and progress by using the abilities of each stage. Dialogue and play style also change depending on age.

"Taray: Unbound," developed by Boundary, is an Eastern dark fantasy action RPG centered on Buddhism's six realms of reincarnation and karma. Alongside a setting inspired by East Asian culture from the 15th to 17th centuries, it presents classes such as "manshin," "chakho-gap-sa," "pungsu-sa" and "kunoichi."

Krafton also unveiled PUBG franchise title PUBG: Deadnet. It reconstructs the survival and competition elements of "PUBG: Battlegrounds" into a gameplay format different from battle royale. It is set in "Cascadia" in 1996, with a motif of the U.S. Pacific Northwest in the 1990s.

Krafton will showcase the five titles introduced at the media day at Gamescom 2026. During the event, it will run hands-on programs for visitors at the Krafton booth in Hall 9 at Koelnmesse.
