Google\'s \'Nano Banana 2\' faces quality drop complaints in comparisons with ChatGPT

Complaints are spreading among users that Google’s AI image-generation model Nano Banana 2 is producing lower-quality images than before, with posts on Reddit dating back to May. TechRadar reported users said recent outputs look bland and do not improve even with detailed prompts. The outlet ran three scene tests and said ChatGPT’s results generally looked more natural than Gemini’s, though Gemini generated images faster.

AI, software Maestro 17th class begins formal training

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT has started the 17th AI·SW Maestro training programme to foster advanced talent in artificial intelligence and software. The ministry held a launch ceremony in Seoul with the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation and the Federation of Korean Information Industries. A new Busan centre was established this year. Trainees will develop service-level projects over six months with mentoring.

OneStore names Toast\'s \'ArcherCastle Grow\' as May\'s top beta game

OneStore selected Toast’s new title “ArcherCastle Grow: Idle RPG” as its top beta game for May from mobile beta test participants. The company also announced indie and beta games newly to be showcased on its platform this month. OneStore is running a “June Beta Game Zone” event featuring five titles and will provide 10,000 won in OneStore game cash to up to 100 participants per game. It also listed three titles for its June Indie Game Zone through month-end.
