Shinhan Financial Group will hold its first wealth management forum jointly involving its affiliates including its bank and securities businesses.

Shinhan Financial said on Aug. 10 it will hold 'Shinhan Premier Pathfinder Hyean 2026' on Aug. 31 at Dragon City in Yongsan, Seoul.

The event is Shinhan Financial's first joint wealth management forum, with group companies including the bank and brokerage as well as its card, life insurance and asset management units taking part. It plans to invite about 1,000 people, including clients with financial assets of at least 1 billion won, to share market outlooks and wealth management strategies and provide consultations by area.

Eligibility has been expanded beyond existing Shinhan Premier clients to include users of 'Shinhan Premier Workplace WM', a wealth management service offered to partner-company customers such as Shinsegae VIP clients.

At the forum, O Gun-young (오건영), head of the 'Shinhan Premier Pathfinder' group of wealth management experts, will lead a seminar on '2026 Global Macro Insights'. The event will also cover changes in tax laws and investment strategies, outlooks for domestic and overseas stock markets and the real estate market, and wealth trends in South Korea in 2026.

Park Se-ri (박세리), a golf coach, will attend as a special speaker. Park will hold a talk on judgment and mental management in response to market changes, based on crises and decision-making experiences from her playing career.

The venue will also run one-on-one tailored consulting with tax, real estate and portfolio experts, along with consultation booths by group affiliate.

Shinhan Financial will accept applications from Aug. 10 through its integrated group app, Shinhan SuperSOL, and select attendees by drawing lots.

A Shinhan Financial official said, "In a situation where market volatility has increased, we will continue to provide clients with necessary asset allocation strategies and tailored solutions."
