Tesla\'s per-vehicle net profit slumps from $9,500 to $2,140 for third straight year of decline
Tesla\'s net profit per vehicle fell sharply from $9,500 in 2022 to $2,140 in 2025, amid declining sales and a rapid drop in per-unit profitability. Yearly figures show profits peaked in 2022 after improving from losses in 2018 and 2019, then fell for three consecutive years. Changes in product lineup, weaker-than-expected Cybertruck sales and rising spending on Cybercab and Full Self-Driving were cited as factors to watch.
