Moonshot AI launches new LLM Kimi K3.1 Pro, highlights 3D modelling and finance analysis performance
China\'s AI company Moonshot AI has unveiled its new flagship large language model, Kimi K3.1 Pro, SiliconANGLE reported. The model is an upgraded version of Kimi K3 released in July, improved through post-training using more computing resources and automated quality checks. Moonshot AI highlighted strengths in 3D modelling and reported benchmark scores in BenchCAD and TerminalBench 4.0. It lagged in cybersecurity benchmarks and plans to bolster vulnerability analysis in future models.

Daytona raises funding at $1 billion valuation, says AI agents need cloud built for them
AI agent-focused cloud startup Daytona has reached unicorn status after securing a $1 billion valuation, TechCrunch reported on Oct. 23. The company raised $60 million in a Series B round led by FirstMark Growth, which also led a $24 million Series A in February. Total funding rose to $91 million. Founders and executives of tech firms joined as angel investors, alongside Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Next and Octa Ventures.

Musk says SpaceX could reach $1 trillion revenue in 2028
Elon Musk said SpaceX reaching $1 trillion in revenue in 2028 is no longer impossible, according to a post on X. The forecast brings forward an earlier internal target of $1 trillion by 2030. Musk also said annual recurring revenue could reach $500 billion to $1 trillion by the end of 2027, while JPMorgan projected 2027 revenue of $254 billion. Some market participants voiced skepticism.
