Anthropic extends free trial of Claude Fable 5 until July 19 as GPT-5.6 rivalry intensifies
Anthropic has again extended the no-extra-charge access period for its top consumer AI model, Fable 5, until July 19. Users on Pro, Max and Team plans and some enterprise customers can use Fable 5 across Claude apps without additional registration, allocating up to 50 percent of their weekly usage limits to it. Anthropic did not give a reason. The move comes as OpenAI began general availability of GPT-5.6 on July 9.
