Samsung SDS says Q3 cloud revenue nears 800 billion won, expands AI security cooperation with global firms
Samsung SDS said it posted third-quarter sales of 3.77 trillion won and operating profit of 241.0 billion won, up 11.2 percent and 3.7 percent from a year earlier. It said growth was led by its external cloud business and air and ocean logistics. Cloud revenue rose 18 percent to 796.1 billion won, while logistics sales increased 16 percent to 2.09 trillion won. The company also highlighted expanding AI security partnerships.

LG Innotek said on Oct. 27 it posted third-quarter revenue of 6.37 trillion won and operating profit of 94.8 billion won. Revenue rose 18.6 percent from a year earlier, while operating profit fell 53.4 percent and the operating margin was 1.5 percent. The company attributed weaker profitability to a sharp fall in the won-dollar exchange rate between raw material purchases and mass production shipments.
