Marvell shares surge 241 percent in a year; CEO cites trust as key to AI chip success
Marvell Technology shares have surged 241 percent over the past year, with long-standing trust built with major technology companies cited as a key driver. CEO Matt Murphy said hyperscaler customers decide deals based on trust across the ecosystem, not only price or performance. Marvell expanded cooperation with Nvidia in March and signed a partnership with Google in August. FactSet expects data centre revenue to rise 60 percent in fiscal 2027 and 61 percent in fiscal 2028.

VMware has focused on expanding its private cloud platform Cloud Foundation, while lower-cost products drew minimal attention and sales incentives pushed customers toward VCF.
