SKT tops national customer satisfaction index for 29th straight year

SK Telecom topped the 2026 National Customer Satisfaction Index survey by the Korea Productivity Center, ranking No. 1 in the mobile phone service category for the 29th consecutive year. The index measures consumer satisfaction with products and services sold in South Korea. SKT said the result reflected efforts to improve AI-centered telecom services, strengthen customer protection and network security after a cyber incident last year, and restore customer trust. SK Broadband also ranked No. 1 for 16 straight years.

SK Broadband\'s B tv+ cumulative viewing tops 100 million hours

SK Broadband said on Tuesday that its IPTV subscription VOD service B tv+ has surpassed 100 million hours of cumulative viewing 21 months after launch. It said B tv+ subscribers use 2.6 times more content than non-subscribers and that B tv churn fell 26 percent from a year earlier, reflecting a lock-in effect. The service offers about 200,000 titles with offline benefits and multi-device viewing.

SK Broadband expands digital welfare at senior centres with B tv On Ad

SK Broadband said on March 25 it has completed building its digital signage service, B tv On Ad, at senior centres in Hapcheon County and Changwon City in South Gyeongsang Province and is moving to expand its smart senior-centre project. Hapcheon expanded from 50 pilot sites to 470, while Changwon is running a pilot at 40 sites. Namwon introduced it at 496 senior centres and 23 administrative welfare centres.
