SK Broadband will run a 'B tv special showcase' featuring films from the 28th Seoul International Women's Film Festival from Aug. 21 to 26, it said on Aug. 20.

The Seoul International Women's Film Festival is an international festival that has highlighted trends in women's films worldwide and discovered emerging creators. SKB has been the only IPTV operator to sponsor the festival for four consecutive years since 2023 and to schedule its films in a B tv special showcase.

This showcase will present 34 domestic and international titles. They include director Apolline Andreys's 'Lady Attila', director Jang Ju-seon's 'Uiju's Language' and director Yang Do-hye's 'To YOU(;To You)'.

Customers who buy screening titles will receive B-cash on B tv equal to 100 percent of the purchase amount. Depending on the number of purchases, some customers will be selected by lottery to receive books, household goods and health functional foods. Winners will be announced on the B World website on Sept. 9.

On Aug. 22, 5 titles will be offered free of charge, including 'To YOU(;To You)', 'Dinosaurs Live in Hawaii', 'Changsin-dong Mart', 'Lady Attila' and 'Welcome to Set'.

The showcase will be available on the 'Seoul International Women's Film Festival' section of B tv and mobile B tv.

Park Cham-sol (박참솔), SKB's platform head, said, "For stories from diverse perspectives to continue being made, there must be audiences who seek out those works." Park said, "By sponsoring the festival and running the showcase, we will broaden the points of contact where works and audiences meet."
