SK Broadband said on Wednesday it will run the B tv+ max Festival to provide offline, on-site experiences to subscribers of its all-in-one subscription product B tv+ max.
B tv+ max offers content from KBS, MBC and SBS, as well as four general programming channels. It also provides more than 300,000 titles including movies, kids, animation and documentaries, along with 255 live channels.
SKB plans to hold monthly offline events by category, including sports, performances and kids and animation.
This month it will hold an invitation event for the Lee Seung-chul concert that KBS will stage on Aug. 1 at Incheon Inspire Arena as part of its Chuseok special project. Subscribers can apply through the B tv home event application screen until July 22. SKB will give concert tickets to 50 winners, with 2 tickets per person, and 20,000 won Shinsegae gift certificates to 100 winners through a draw. Winners will be announced on July 24 on B World.
Park Cham-sol (박참솔), head of platform at SK Broadband, said, "The experience that subscribers feel is another competitiveness of subscription products." He added, "We plan to continue expanding differentiated customer benefits unique to B tv+ max."
